Surface exploration methods | A nature pond had been constructed by damming up a ravine on the side of the slope up to the locale. A driveway had been built over the dam and onto the ridge side on the eastern portion of the area. The site had been bulldozed for the construction of a house and pole barn. The site is now where the pole barn and house site is and extends around the perimeter of both on all side and to the slope of the recently built pond. Chert scatter continues to the north up the ridge slope and may continue towards the crest of the hilltop. |
