General remarks | We decided that the rocks in the North of locus 1012 is different. So we separated the North half to be locus 1021. The rocks in the South are still 1012. |

Has note | Contexts excavated in trenches were recorded using the "locus system." A locus is any discrete three-dimensional entity excavated in a trench. The key to the locus system is the recognition that a locus is any one thing. Differences in soil composition or texture are therefore as important as, for example, the difference between a pit and a wall. If two entities were distinct, they were considered separate loci and were therefore assigned separate locus numbers. It should also be noted that every context excavated in a trench was given a locus number and thus the trench itself is made up completely of excavated loci. |

---|---|
Material | Stones |
Stone brick size | cosistant 15-20cm across rocks around pit, smaller rocks strewn about |
Structure type | Pit delinators, some possible wall |
Courses amount | 1 |
Rows amount | 1 |
Wall abuts | L1019, L1023, L1024, possibly L1011 |
Remarks | These rocks were grouped because of very little symmetry in any except possible half pits around L1023, L1024. Also, there was a possible intersection between L1011 and L1019 there. |
