Description | This is a more compact deposit of soil than otherwise found. Colored 7.5YR 6/6 or Reddish Yellow, it also has a higher concentration of cultural materials, and may have served as a convenient place to dump broken vessels that could no longer be used. It is also curious that vestiges of Nabataean fine wares were found here, so it might be reasoned that for some time the deposit served as a dump. |
