Stratigraphy remarks Sealed against by Surfs 8, 15, 17 & over L 18 & Hearth 22; may have been installed at the same time as ritual pool; if 8=16 & 15=11 then Wall 4 was used in conjunction with the pool; L 40 was laid over Cobbled Surf 41 to level for the construction of Wall 4; since the pottery from 40 is LIR2/P, Wall 4 is also LIR2/P.

Function Wall for domestic use? Was built so close to Wall 26 & parallel to it, that it seems Wall 4 was built to widen the existing Wall 26 and when rubble was piled between them, they formed one massive wall
