Description | A body fragment of a coarseware vessel with adhered slag. The fragment has a smooth, finished, concave interior. The convex, finished exterior is mostly smooth except for in a corner formed by two break edges where there are signs of burning and vitrification in addition to adhered iron slag. The imprint of the burning, vitrification, and slag is somewhat arcing and in profile it has slight concavities (min. pres. thickness: 0.01343m) and bulbs, including a particularly large bulb of slag (max. pres. thickness of the fragment). |
