Overlies | Locus 3. |
Description | Locus 6 is a very thin layer of soil that lies under Locus 2 and on top of Locus 3. Although no Munsell reading was taken, this locus can probably be equated with Locus 5, although a final decision should be withheld until an analysis of the finds from the two loci. This locus was sealed by a fallen column drum and a smashed pot, the fragments of which were all found under the roof tiles of the overlying locus. The pottery recovered is similar to that of Locus 5. In addition, some bones were found. |
