Description | A portion of an impasto handle is preserved. The fragment preserves a gentle curve, two faces, and two sides. At one end the fragment is slightly flared which perhaps indicates the attachment point to the vessel. One side is rounded while the other side has a slight ridge running along its length. On the exterior face of the handle, there is a depression, approximately 0.011 m wide, running down the middle of the fragment creating a rounded ridge on each side. One ridge is gently rounded while the other has a more pronounced curve with a slightly ridge running along the top. |
