| Description | A fragment of cover tile preserves on finished edge. The interior face is unfinished. The exterior face is finished, but also preserves evidence of vitrification, particularly at the break edges farthest from the finished edge. The fragment has been warped by vitrification, making its regular arching shape slightly less concave/more flat. Several large inclusions are visible in the biscuit and on the finished edge at least of of these fell out over time. |
