| Description | Locus 3 consists of the rock filled soil found under Locus 1 in most of the trench (the area without rocks was designated Locus 2). At the top of the locus was a ridge of rocks, probably formed by natural processes. Apart from the presence of more rocks, the soil in Locus 3 is identical to the soil of Locus 1 and 2. It is shifting nuances of brown in color and slightly claylike in texture. |
