Description Locus 14, Munsell 10 YR 4/6 (Dark Yellowish Brown) and 5 YR 5/4 (Olive), is a packed mud surface, extending across the trench. The surface varies in depth as well as density especially towards the north. The capstones of the canalization system (Locus 21), were in places, exposed without any evidence of coverage by Locus 14. Locus 14 covered the canalization, most likely after it went out of use, and may have functioned as a floor or foundation for the storeroom or living space suggested by Loci 13, 12, and 15.
