Description | A loose and fine yellowish red soil (Munsell 5 YR 4/6) in an intentionally cut rectangular depression in the bedrock. There were some material remains recovered from the depression that had some ash and small pieces of charcoal. This was likely a domestic instillation, possibly a place for a hearth in the original use of the cave. A significant amount of Nabataean coarse and fine ware was recovered. |
