Description A fragment of terracotta lateral sima preserving the upper element of cavetto. There are two finished perpendicular edges, mostly preserved except for a break where they would have cornered. The shorter of the two preserves a section which is angled about 45 degrees and could either represent an irregularity in the creation of the object or perhaps a earlier abrasion. Along the longer preserved edge on the decorated face are portions of six elements of the cavetto are preserved. The undecorated face is finished with large inclusions evident. There is a small break on the undecorated side also where the two finished edges meet (as with the decorated side). Conserved from two fragments which were found on two different days (15 July and 16 July 2015) at slightly different heights and positions.
