Condition | Surfaces are heavily worn, pitted, and encrusted. The rocchetto has sheared off vertically approximately one-third of the way through the head and down the shaft with additional worn chips off the sides of the shaft. There is one fresh chip on the edge of the head due to damage from modern tools used in excavation. |
Description | Rocchetto fragment preserves two-thirds of a domed head that comes to an edge before tapering inward to the shaft. In the center of the head is most of a circular stamp of a quadruped facing right. The tail of the quadruped curls up back around to touch the center of its back. |
