Description | A fragment of an iron nail preserving a portion of the squared shaft. Two perpendicular faces are finished, the the other two are broken and corroded in such a way as to not see any finished faces. One transverse break edge is somewhat trapezoidal in section. The other transverse break is somewhat triangular in section; corrosion prevents clarity on whether this is a break edge as it appears or is perhaps the terminal pointed end. |
