Project name Phase I Archaeological Survey of ca. 180 Acres at Mississinewa Lake
Surface exploration methods Site was identified during systematic shovel testing at 15 meter intervals; foundations were identified as they had only partially been buried. Additionally, a light historic scatter was documented in a cornfield which was included within the site boundaries. Systematic walkover of the cornfield, artifacts from the cornfield were bagged within a 3 meter block area.
