Stratigraphy remarks | Based on the readings from L 17, etc, at the base of the wall on the E, an Ir1 date is clear; Ir1 L 17, 16, 15, 13, & 12 all were in use with the wall; above that level, in loci 11, 8, & 6, is much tumble; the wall may have fallen into disuse by Ir2; this wall seems to have been built on top of Walls 20 & 21; the date for those is still tentative-- perhaps earlier than LB, maybe even MB, based on 27's reading |
