Condition The fragment is a join of two individual pieces. The handle is broken at the attachment point to the vessel as well as midway through its length. The surface is in good condition, with only minor surface chipping and wear.
Description The fragment preserves portions of a thick bucchero handle and portions of the body at the attachment point. The handle tapers in height from 0.035 m to approximately 0.020 m at the break edge. It attaches to the body portions at a relatively flat angle. The interior of the body preserves a narrow ridge the runs along the length of the fragment, directly opposite the handle attachment point.
