Descriptive Attribute Value(s)
Architectural or Soil Locus? Soil
Size 1.20 m north south-by-2.22 m east west.
Description A very thin, compacted layer of sand with a few granules and pebbles. The sand had a distinctly different Munsell Color around 10 R 5/6 (Pinkish Red). This is the first natural sedimentation event between the second material culture deposition event and the pre-construction activity for the P/GT. The extreme thinness of the stratum and its sandy consistency suggest it could be the result of a wind-related deposition process. A Tiger’s Eye bead represents the only artifact found in this stratum.
