Description | Bucchero finial disc to an oinochoe lip and handle broken at join to vase. One side is slightly convex and undecorated. The opposite side is flat and decorated with incised designs. There is a circle in the center; at four equidistant points of this circle a leaf projects outward with its rounded (and fullest) end closest to the center. Between the leaves are two arching incisions which are concentric with the center circle; above the lines and betwen the four leaves is a series of tongues which point toward the center. |
