Description | Features are in high relief. The smooth hair divides into two strands by the ear. The large, almond-shaped eyes with tear ducts and lids are recessed from the narrow forehead and chin. The bridge of the nose is divided into two sections by three gooves; the tip of the nose ends in three knobs. The long, open mouth sinks slightly in the middle beneath the nose. Two flat teeth and two fangs, on either side of the nose, frame four flat teeth in the upper jaw. the tongue, with a central groove, hangs from the center of the mouth. The back is rough where the Gorgon was attached to its cover tile. |
