Work continued in the north end of trench 2D.

A fragment of sieve with the rim preserved, similar to the one found on July 11 ( see p. 7 ) was found at 1.70 m depth, 0.70 m from the east wall and 1.95 m from the north.  Find #22.

A gorgon head, broken on top right, was found at 1.80 m depth, 0.50 m from the north wall and 1.90 from the east (Find #23).  Another gorgon head, very well preserved but broken on the right side, was found at 1.80 depth, 0.65 m from the east wall and 1.85 m from the north (Find #24).  The joining piece was found fairly close to it.

A large piece of campstool frieze with cornice, left side, and guilloche preserved was found at 1.65 m depth in the north wall, 1.40 m from the east wall.  Designated as Find #25.

2 pieces of lateral sima with cornice and a few smaller pieces of frieze were also found.

A large piece of covertile, found in trench 2D, was catalogued as Find #27.
