Project name | Hoosier Energy, Lawrence County |
Surface exploration methods | Systematic visual survey was conducted at 5 meter intervals. When cultural materials were found, the survey interval was reduced to 1 meter and the area was scrutinized for the presence of additional cultural materials. Each artifact discovered was flagged and its location mapped with a Leica total station. Whenever possible 100% of the observed artifacts were collected, but at 12Lr1012 artifact density was too great to allow 100% collection. |
