Description Locus 5 is the entire second extension of CA-81, 2 meters directly south of the first extension. It is a 2 x 2 meter extension and consists of the same layer of topsoil as locus 1 and 3, including a large amount of humus, a large stump in the northeast corner, and a tree that was eventually removed from the center. There was a moderate amount of terracotta and pottery recovered from this locus, as well as a couple of pieces of iron and a good amount of slag. There also was an incised bronze leech fibula fragment (20130107) recovered in this locus.
