Description |
Locus 4 is the locus directly to the west of Locus 3 and abuts on the north to the southern flank of the Archaic structure wall. Locus is very shallow, measuring approximately 3-5 cm in depth. Locus 4 has a downward slope from the north to the south. Locus 4 is considered to be non-contextual because of previous excavation and all materials found within would have been placed there organically through natural erosion; very little materials were found within and most were heavily abraded given the non-contextual nature of the locus. Locus 4 is full of small to medium sized rocks and a few small roots from the grouping of trees present within the southern baulk. Locus 4 is synonymous with Locus 3 and Locus 5.
