Description Locus 5 is characterized as being underneath Locus 4 in the northern extent of the trench. The soil of Locus 5 is a mottled dark brown, with light gray flaky inclusions, black and white inclusions, and small stones. Small fragments of terracotta and more sherds of pottery were recovered in this Locus than Locus 4. Two bone fragments and a fragment of vitrified terracotta were recovered. There appeared to be yellowish gray brown inclusions in the northern extent of the Locus, and a number of snail shells were found in the same region.
