Description Locus 5 is characterised by a hard, dark yellow brown soil which is lighter in colour than Locus 4 and feels almost sandy to the touch. While this coarse, sandy texture is striking, it is important to note that this Locus is highly concentrated and adhesive, and no longer possesses the loose, soft texture of Locus 4. Locus 5 is associated with the same circular feature as Locus 4, and lies directly beneath it.
