Description Locus 41 is a rubble wall constructed by the Bedoul while they were using this area for farming. It rests against the north face of the blockage of the colonnade (Locus 75 and 76) and appears to extend further into the balk. The wall is poorly made of unhewn, hewn, and dressed sandstone ashlars. The wall is dry-laid with snecking stones. It is two courses high and one row thick. This wall was removed for safety reasons when risk of collapse became too great during the course of excavation. Locus 41 is phased to Phase XIV because of its modern date.
