Description Locus 3 is an opening in a large piece of bedrock, located within the linear construction of T-70 (MVS-I). This niche is approximately 5cm across, 11cm long within the limestone. The large stone is located within the southern meter of this trench. The soil within this niche is very claylike in texture. This may be due to the fact that it lies underground within the bedrock and thus the soil is prone to dampness. It is a dark yellowish brown color with little organic matter or roots. No finds were recovered from this locus though the end of the dark yellowish brown soil was not reached as it became too logistically difficult to excavate. Given the lack of any finds to this point, it was decided to close Locus 3
