Description This passageway corridor is 1.50 m in width. It is constructed in a breech in the west wall and served as a small entry to the West Baths. The sandstone well-hewn ashlar wall extending beyond this west access is uneven and some of the blocks have fallen to the north and lie in situ. Copious amounts of associated plaster were found lying nearby. In some cases three courses are evident, but there are generally two courses surrounded by earth. A threshold was recovered, but no steps for access to the threshold. The threshold steps must have been the victims of earthquake action. No excavation took place west of this wall into the corridor itself.
