Wall construction type (Descriptive Attribute)
Documentation Note
Eight types of walls were identified in Phase B. These are:
- Type 1: undressed stone, uncoursed rubble, single stone, dry-laid, unplastered.
- Type 2: undressed stone, uncoursed rubble, double stone or compound, dry-laid, unplastered.
- Type 3: undressed stone, semicoursed rubble, double stone or compound, dry-laid, unplastered.
- Type 4: undressed stone, uncoursed rubble, double stone or compound, dry-laid, plastered.
- Type 5: undressed stone, semicoursed rubble, double stone or compound, dry-laid, plastered.
- Type 6: mudbrick, dry laid, unplastered.
- Type 7: undressed stone, uncoursed rubble, compound w/core or double stone w/core, dry-laid, unplastered.
- Type 8: undressed stone, uncoursed rubble, compound w/core or double stone w/core, dry-laid, plastered.
