Control Value Second Phase Complete (Descriptive Attribute)
Documentation Note
This measure is calculated for the entire site.. The Control Value (CV) is a local measure that expresses the influence a particular space has on its neighbors, based on the number of other rooms with which it interacts (Hillier and Hanson 1984: 109, Fisher 2009: 446; Osborne 2012: 51-2). Each space gives to its neighbor a value equal to 1/n of its "control."
The control value of any space is determined by summing all the fractional values of the neighboring spaces (Hillier and Hanson 1984:109).
These values describe the second use phase.
