Control Value First Use Phase (Descriptive Attribute)
Documentation Note

This measure is calculated according to the analytical section (i.e. Central Megaron Complex, Administrative Complex, Rowhouses West or Rowhouses East). The Control Value (CV) is a local measure that expresses the influence a particular space has on its neighbors, based on the number of other rooms with which it interacts (Hillier and Hanson 1984: 109, Fisher 2009: 446; Osborne 2012: 51-2). Each space gives to its neighbor a value equal to 1/n of its "control."

The control value of any space is determined by summing all the fractional values of the neighboring spaces (Hillier and Hanson 1984:109).

These values describe the first use phase.
