Description Five non-joining fragments of a cotter pin. The mostly preserved codder pin consists of a thin flat sheet which is bent in half. The bent end is a rounded loop which tapers inward and extends in two -now curving- parallel prongs which do not preserve finished ends. Two non-joining prong fragments are preserved separately. Roughly half way along the shaft, on the same side of both prongs, there are two lateral projections where the coil was once attached. The coil is preserved in two circular fragments.
