| Description | Fragment of a "cut-out" akroterion (?) preserving the end section of a member with two surface planes, two flat sides, one unfinished, one very smooth. The finished side has two surface planes: a wide top plane bordered along one of the curving edges by a narrow, recessed plane. Difference of level about 0.015 m. Three flat smooth joining edges: one is straight and forms the end of the fragment, the other two both curve concavely. One meets the straight edge at approximately a right angle, the other at an obtuse angle. For the shape of the fragment see 19670490. |
