Finished trimming baulks in CA42N.  Material recovered in the process included 3 bone fragments, a piece of plaster, 5 red ware, 4 coarseware, 12 impasto and 1 bucchero fragment(find #1).  Drawing of the east baulk was made(See page ).  Photos and slides of the trench were taken and clearing of the area immediately east of CA42 started for the extension of the trench.

In CA42 northeast corner of the well trench was excavated to the deepest excavated level, approximately 230 cm b.d, in order to facilitate further excavation of the well.  Photos and slides of the trench were taken.  Initiated 5 cm. cut immediately west of the well.
