CA42N was extended east into meters N13-15 W8-9 in order to investigate a feature consisting of dark soil containing carbon and archeological material, corresponding to locus 5.  10cm topsoil cut was initiated in N13-14 W8-9.  Material recovered from this area, designated locus 7, included 40 pieces of terracotta, worn but fairly large (5-10cm) and thick (2-3cm);

6 coarseware fragments, worn; and a stone taht possibly has one finished edge and was idetnifided as tufa.
