AM and PM

Defined entire trench floor to bring out tile spread in loci 12 and 13, loci 9 and extent of slingstones in locus 11. The entire baulk wall also trimmed back. At the end of the day, white clay definately surrounded a tile spread that was oriented predominately northeast-southwest and had a very dense concentration of small, white, egg shaped stones with a chip in the bottem of the egg shape (slingstones) directly south of the spread. Slingstones were alos found sporadically north, above and intermingled with the tile spread. No material was removed.

The total tile removed from the tile spread ia approx. 3 cassetta.
