July 22, 1988

The third cut into the plaster layer in P-R 62-64 was continued (depth 0.90m). In general the soil here (as opposed to the depth 0.80m in P-R 65-71) contains less burnt material and less plaster. Except for the tile fragments mentioned on p.189 only very few small random fragments of tile and pithos were found. P 62, R-P 63 and P 64 were excavated.

2 1/3 box of mixed pottery, 2/3 box of bone (some rather large + 2 teeth) and 1/2 cassetta of tile adn a few plaster fragments were found.
