The western border of the linear formation is now clearly defined. Trowels were used to then define the rocks within the linear formation. Hand picks and trowels were also used to define the borders of the rock packing in the north, directly west of the linear formation, as well as in the northwestern corner of T-70

Trowels were used to scrape the surface of the westernmost baulk wall form the 2014 T-58 trench. This was so that the stratigraphy immediately east of the linear formation could be clearly viewed (once soil from back-filling was removed) in order to ascertain the level of any possible floor surface. However, the stratigraphy doesn't provide a precise insight into the level of a possible floor surface and thus more excavation is necessary. Approximately 7-10cm down across the horizontal level of the T-58 baulk the soil changes in colours from a light brown to a lighter brown colour. This may signify a possible floor surface and will be used as an approximate guide whilst excavating down the eastern side of the linear formation.

The western baulk of T-70 was trimmed, and the packing in the northwestern corner defined.
