Agger 1
The north wall was cleaned and edged. Some carbon on the outside of the north wall of the
east corner of the trench. 7 boxes of tiles.
To find the extent and where the north wall turned, the area immediately west of the agger stones and on axis with the north wall was explored; and no foundations were found. A cut was then taken through the west agger stones in the southern part of the trench, and stone foundations of a return wall running north-south appeared. Its dimensions and composition were not yet clear. Some carbon was found below the agger stones.

Vase (lid?) fragment
Agger 2
Section A 17 boxes of tile were lifted, and the section was taken down to the clay pavement. Found:small piece of bronze and a long, flat, narrow, slightly curved piece of bronze.
Sections C-D Fill continued to be removed. A few small pieces of bronze found, including a very small ball of bronze.
