Work continued in trench 2B. The area south of the stone was taken down to the depth of the stones, levelled, and swept. The area north of the stone, adjoinging the part of the trench 2A excavated last year, was taken dwon to a greater depth, and the stone cleaned to determine its possible significance.
North of the wall, and mixed with the upper stones, several architectural fragments were found, including the bottom part of a procession frieze, with guilloche and part of a wheel; the upper middle part of a campstool frieze, with a woman's
head and waist, her fan, and two studs; part of a banquet frieze, with the middle of one serving woman, and the end of the couch. These places were not listed as individual finds.
A section of banquet frieze, the lower part, preserving guilloche, a dog, and part of a table, was found at a depth of .90 m. , 1.45 m. from the east end, and 2.25 m. from the south (find # 6).
Large pieces of pan tile were also found north of the stone and in it.

Lateral Sima Fragment, Head
the west, and .65 m. from the north (find # 7). A fragment of human head (antefix?) was found at a depth of .80 m., .87 m. from the north wall, and 2.05 m. from the west (find # 8).
A terra cotta humand head, very well-preserved, was found at depth of 1.0 m., .82 m., from the north wall, and 1.6 m. from the west (find # 9).
Several fragments of pottery, joining to form a handle with both joins to the vase, were found together at a depth of 1.10 m., .60 m. from the north wall, and 2.20 m. from the east (find # 10, not catalogued, see sherd boxes).
A fragment of a gorgon head (antefix?) was found at a depth of 0.84m, 0.83m from the north wall,

Horserace Frieze, fragment
and 1.90m from the west wall (Find #11).
A gorgon head antefix, almost complete and in good state of preservation, was found at a depth of 1.05m, 0.95m from the north wall, and 1.95m from the west wall (Find #12).
A section of horserace frieze (top right, cavetto, horse's head) was found at a depth of 0.90m, 1.06m from the north wall, and 1.34m from the west (Find #13).
Trench 2C
A new trench, two meters wide, was laid out along the entire west side of the complex. Surface

soil was removed to a depth of about 0.20m. In the surface a fragment of cornice was found, very worn, 5.0m. From the north end and 1.0m from the west (no find number given).
