The cut, approximately 20-25 cm, taken in meter N4W12 to find the pre-galestra soil was finished. The ending depths for this meter are as follows: NW=50 cm b.d., SW=53, NE=50, SE=52, middle =53 cm b.d.

The soil at this surface was shale-like, similar to that in locus 10. This cut produced no archaeological material this reaffirming the conclusion that this is sterile soil.

Next a 50 cm cut going north, from the north baulk of meters N4W13-14, was taken extending into meters N5W13-14. This cut was taken to see if the rock formation extended further north. This cut through the topsoil is locus 13. The opening depths for locus 13 are as follows: NW=19, SW=18, NE=12, SE=12, mid=15. The soil is typical of topsoil, being

very dry and loose. Only one artifact came from this locus, an impasto handle. The next cut, locus 14, contained the clayish soil, light olive brown in color, similar to that of loci 6, 8, 10, 12. The opening depths for locus 14 are as follows: NW=26 cm b.d., SW=25, NE=23, SE=27, middle=20.

The soil in meter N5W13 was very dense. It could only be taken down about 5 cm because of a higher concentration of rocks beneath surface. The soil in the next meter over to the west, N4W14, was very different. It was typical soil found beneath the topsoil, the clayish soil similar to that in loci 12, 10, 8, 6, 4. There were no carbon flakes found in either meter, and a low concentration of archaeological material. 3 tile fragments were found (3-1cm),

and 7 pieces of impasto (5-1 cm).

After locus 14 was leveled off to the surface of locus 6 & 8, the feature, it was then decided to lift the feature. The entire area it encompasses equals meters N3-4W13-14 and will be called locus 15. The opening depths for locus 15 are as follows: NW=30 cm b.d, SW=30, NE=31, SE=33, and middle=32. The soil in this locus is the same color and consistency as locus 14, the clayish, light olive brown soil. However,  there is a high concentration of carbon and archaeological material present.

There were 10 pieces of tile (12-1 cm), one spindle whorl, one bucchero handle, a 5 rope handle, 6 pieces of bucchero, 24 pieces of impasto, 3 pieces of coarseware and 8 pieces of bone. There is an additional piece of impasto broken
