Opening Elevations:
NW corner: 167.3 cm bd
NE corner: 167.5 cm bd
SW corner: 162.1 cm bd
SE corner: 162.2 cm bd
Completed pass of remaining southern portion of trench. Picked a small area between meters 177-178E / 57-58S, which yesterday had exhibited higher number of inclusions and amounts of carbon. The area still shows more inclusions. However, then commenced a new pick pass of entire trench, which turned up uniform soil with a large amount of carbon and other inclusions, characteristic of locus 5.
P.M.
Continued sifting from pick pass. Levelled trench and cleaned corners. Collected 1/4 bowl of terracotta and plaster, 4 small bronze fragments, 54 fragments of pottery, 7 pieces of bone.
