Opening Elevations:
NW corner: 175.1 cm bd
NE corner: 174.6 cm bd
SW corner: 171.1 cm bd
SE corner: 175.5 cm bd
Trimmed baulk walls. Pick pass of northern half of trench sorted, pick pass of southern half of trench begun.
P.M.
Finished sorting southern half of trench. Began new pick pass of western half of trench, taking out completely southern baulk wall. Recorded find #1, a fragile fragment of a rocchetto. Did not have time to complete pass of eastern half of trench.
Collected 1 1/4 bowl of terracotta and plaster, mainly consisting of plaster, five fragments of bronze, 159 sherds of pottery, 24 fragments of bone.
