This morning we laid out Vt17 and declared Locus 1 across the entire trench. Opening Photos and elevations were taken.
Opening Coordinates and Elevations (Locus 1)

We began picking and shovelling the soil across Locus 1. It is a light brown soil full of modern and ancient materials. Work continued through evening.
