Began to shave down the baulk along K-L-M/68. Some tiles and pithos fragments were recovered, but no finds. Work with mesties continued at depth of 131 cm bd. into meters L/69-70. Almost an entire latte box of pottery was found here, also a fair amount of bone. The soil continues to be a dark grey burn, although pieces of carbonized material are not prevalent.

Work also continued in L/M-63064 at a level of 135 cm bd. The soil here at this level seems to have less plaster, but the same amount of pottery. Finds here included an aryballos fragment, a molded handle.

P.M.

No work due to rain.
