10 July 2024 AM The morning began with a pickpass in the eastern extent of the trench where the layer is higher and working towards the western extent of the trench. The western and northern extent of Locus 1 is more heavily plaster included than the eastern extent. Tile, plaster, plaster with reed impressions, and vitrified terracotta continue to be found. Fragments of pottery and bone are being found frequently but in quantities not as high as other materials that are being bulk found. While sorting the pickpass by hand into buckets, a fragment of fineware pottery with adhered plaster was found (special find #8). The plaster and pottery was special found to highlight the presence of pottery within the plaster of the floor surface.
