CA24 (stratum A)

The deposit of blackened earth in square B14 continued to be excavated and produced a large number of moderately sized tile fragments as well as bones, sherds, and misfires.  Other finds from the day's excavation included:

Three boxes of tiles were dumped and one box of pottery from the area B13-B16 (A) was sent down.
