Metal Analysis:

84 fragments of metal were recovered from T-89 during the 2017 excavation season.  Locus 4 had the most metal, with 38 fragments.

65 fragments were bronze and 14 were iron.  Of those 65 fragments, 30 were bronze fibula pin fragments.  While the iron was not typically well-preserved, several fragments of bronze enjoyed a high level of preservation and were cataloged including a possible buckle fragment (PC20170006), a chain fragment (PC20170004), a hooked fragment (PC20170032), a semicircular fragment (PC20170013), and a possible vessel fragment (PC20170014).
