The excavated soil between the west section of trench 2A and trench 2B was removed, and the cleared area cleaned. In the unexcavated soil below, many pieces of broken pottery were found, including several which seemed to go with 2B # 10 (see p.31).

The excavated soil also between the east section of trench 2A and trench 2B was removed.
